The 47 x 75mm UC3 pressure-treated sawn softwood (often called a ‘3×2’) is a useful mid-size section for fencing supports, outdoor framing, garden structures and general construction. A good balance of strength and manageability. Green pressure-treated from spruce or Douglas Fir for better durability than unspecified softwood alternatives. Available in 22mm, 38mm and 47mm thicknesses. Seal cut ends with end-grain preservative.
