The yard is open to anyone, trade or retail. If you are coming a long way for something specific, ring first and we will check it is on the ground before you set off.

We are on the A361 at Holwell, in the valley just down from the Nunney Catch roundabout, 10 minutes out of Frome.

Seasoned and kiln dried logs, delivered free within 20 miles of the mill at Frome. Put your postcode into the checker on the firewood page and it will tell you straight away, before you order.
Common questions
Can I buy online?
Firewood is the only thing you can buy and pay for on the site at the moment. Everything else is priced on enquiry, because so much of what we sell is cut to order. Send the form above or call the yard and we will price it for you.
Do you deliver?
Yes we do. Firewood is delivered free within 20 miles of the mill at Frome. For timber and everything else, put the postcode on the enquiry form and we will quote delivery along with the price.
Can I collect from the mill?
Yes. The yard is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and Saturday morning until 12pm. If you want something specific put by, ring ahead on 01373 836 375.
Do you cut timber to size?
We saw on site at Holwell, so we can cut to your list. Send the sizes on the enquiry form above, we’ll tell you what is possible, when we can have it ready for, and what it will cost.
Do you supply the trade?
Yes, trade and retail both. The price is the same for everyone – we price on volume and frequency of orders, and you get advice from whoever is in the yard rather than a call centre.
Are your logs Ready to Burn certified?
Our seasoned and kiln dried logs are certified Ready to Burn, so you know they are dry enough to burn well. Ready to Season are ‘green’ hardwood sold in bulk for you to season yourself over a summer.
How quickly will you get back to me?
Most enquiries get an answer the same working day. Anything that comes in over the weekend we pick up on Monday morning. If it is urgent, phone the mill.
