Our 38 x 88mm UC3 pressure-treated sawn softwood is a popular structural size, widely used as a horizontal fence rail, framing member and outdoor construction component. Strong yet easy to work with, it strikes an excellent balance between weight and structural performance. For a stonger fence rail or longer runs consider using 50 x 100mm rails. Green pressure-treated for longer lasting outdoor use. Seal cut ends with end-grain preservative.
