Treated feather edge boards, the classic choice for close-board fencing. These ex 22mm x 125mm (5″) boards taper from a thick edge to a fine edge (‘ex’ means the size of board the two pieces were cut from). Overlapping to create a strong, attractive fence face. Timber quality is important when choosing feather edge as lower grade timber from higher up the trunk will have more knots that fall out leaving eye holes in your fence – we choose a higher grade larch where possible so that you getter a better result. UC3 green pressure-treated for excellent rot resistance and long outdoor life. We recommend a 1″ (25mm) overlap, so work on approximately 10 boards per metre run. Available in a range of lengths to suit all standard fence heights. Sourced from quality softwood; always seal cut ends with end-grain preservative. Available in lengths from 0.9m (3′) to 2.4m (10′)
