One-off home-milled yew board, Two slight part waney edges (mostly straight)
Artistic statement piece with extensive bark and feature detail, very characterful, strong shake feature. Vivid contrast between creamy sapwood and rich orange-red to deep brown heartwood, with tight swirling grain that polishes to a glassy finish.
Air dried to ~18% moisture content.

English Yew (Taxus baccata)
Grown in Frome, this well aged tree needed felling from the grounds of the retirement home, and only travelled 5 miles to us for milling.
Note: yew dust/timber should not be used for food-contact surfaces.
