Fixed charge applied when the band saw blade is damaged or requires resharpening as a result of a cut, typically caused by hidden metal (screws, nails, pins) or stones embedded in timber.
Fixed charge, regardless of job size or how far into the cut the damage occurs. This is non-negotiable, blade resharpening and potential replacement is a real cost we cannot absorb.
To help avoid this charge: please declare any known fixings, nails or embedded material before milling or resawing begins. We will work with you to avoid them where possible.
