Beech Timber Board

Description

European Beech is one of the great utility hardwoods – fine, even grain with a creamy pink-white colour that warms to a pale honey tone over time. The surface is dense and smooth, with a subtle fleck visible on quartersawn faces. It machines cleanly to a glassy finish. Dimensionally stable once dried.

Excellent for furniture, cabinet interiors, shelving, tool handles and workshop jigs. One of the best timbers for kitchen and dining use – food safe and odourless when properly finished, making it ideal for chopping boards, bread boards and kitchen worktops. Durability class 5: not suitable for external or ground-contact use without treatment. For outdoor applications, choose our larch or oak boards instead.
