A cookie is a small file a website puts on your device. Some are needed to make the site work at all. Others watch what you do, and those need your permission first.

We use the cookies the shop needs to work: remembering what is in your basket, keeping you signed in if you have an account, and keeping the site secure. Stuff that’s helpful for you.
We do not sell what we learn about you, and we do not pass it to advertisers.
These are set by WordPress and WooCommerce, the software this site runs on. Without them the basket and the checkout do not work, so they cannot be turned off.
These expire either when you close the browser or after a short period, depending on the cookie.
[KEV TO CONFIRM. This section cannot be finished until we know whether the site runs analytics, advertising or embedded content that sets its own cookies. The three questions that need answering are: are we running Google Analytics or any other measurement tool; are we running Meta, Google Ads or any other advertising pixel; and do we embed anything from another site, such as a YouTube or Vimeo video or a Google Map. Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block new ones. Look for Privacy or Site settings in your browser menu. Blocking the necessary cookies above will stop the basket and checkout working, so if you want to buy firewood from us you will need to allow those.
