Whilst it may be hard to predict what the new year has in store for us all, keeping warm and keeping heating costs down will still be a major priority for many of us. At present we have a plentiful supply of both part-seasoned and kiln dried hardwood logs here at Holwell ready to either collect or be delivered alongside log stores, smokeless coal, firelighters, and bags of kindling. All you have to do is call or email us with your order in good time to ensure you have plenty of competitively priced logs to see you safely into 2025! A quick reminder that with the recent wet weather part-seasoned logs will inevitably get a little damp unless stored safely and if you don’t have space to do this then our kiln dried logs are the answer.............. especially as they are still available at last season’s prices and are guaranteed ready for use straight away! You can order logs on-line or via email or phone call and we can normally deliver with a few days or, if you prefer, to collect - our self-collection log station is open all year round. This means that you can quickly top up your stock of logs at a moment’s notice as well as helping you spread the cost – just collect as and when you want from as little as £30.00 a load. It’s already proving to be a popular choice for those of you wanting smaller loads of logs at a really competitive price. January is the perfect time to replace any broken or rotten sections of fencing before the real winter arrives. We have a great selection to choose from - including our range of quality panels and fencing. For those of you with timber garden furniture and structures in your garden, as well as gates, fencing and panels – its good idea to give them a spirit-based treatment to protect them both from the rain showers and damp that we’ll no doubt be seeing over the coming months! – We stock a wide range of brand leading products including all the accessories needed for effective application, as well as a range of fixings for gates and sheds should they need replacing. With the colder weather approaching many of you come in from the garden and start looking at winter woodworking projects and we have a great new selection of hardwood boards which are ideal for carpenters, cabinetmakers, and craftspeople now available here in our showrooms. All our timber on show is individually priced with the species clearly identified, so you know exactly what you will be paying for and know you are getting what you want. No appointments are necessary so you can spend as long as you like looking through our stock or, if you have a specific size and wood species in mind – just let us know!
